Ovnimoon Records is proud to present a special release, a downtempo album from 'Aura Borealis' project called 'Brainsugar'!

Aura Borealis is Nikhil Sundar from Bangalore, India. His aim is to make music which incorporates loads of ethnic and tribal instruments. Influenced by the core sounds of world music; with a neo -industrial and cinematic production style - he essentially has a vision for music that is psychedelic and uplifting but organic at the same time.

The concept behind 'Brainsugar' was to create a shamanic tonic for the brain through sound, using simple yet complex rhythms, guided percussions, intricate instrumentation and uplifting melodies. An attempt was made to craft music that incorporates traditional electronica with our cultural and evolutionary roots.
